We believe in the unity of the Godhead and the divine co-equality of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God is the Sovereign Creator of all things.
We believe the whole Bible is inspired by God and is authoritative and sufficient. We believe the truth and the reliability of both the Old and New Testaments and that the Holy Spirit is needed for a right spiritual understanding.
We believe Jesus is God the Lord and the Christ. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and grew up into real and perfect manhood. His teaching is authoritative and infallible. He died an atoning death on the cross as a sacrifice and a substitute for sinners. He rose bodily on the third day and is now ascended into heaven where he intercedes for his people. He will come again in person and with great glory.
We believe the Holy Spirit is God. The Bible teaches his personality and ministry including his vital work in regeneration, conversion and sanctification. He is also essential to our proper worship, preaching and Bible teaching.
We believe all human nature is totally corrupt and depraved as a result of the Fall. God's grace is needed to rescue and transform.
We believe the sinner is made right before God, not on account of works but, solely by grace, through faith in the atoning merits of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
We believe that eternal salvation and the security of all believers is assured on receiving Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
We believe in the universal Church as the body of which Christ is the Head. This embraces all true believers who are the redeemed and called by God through the Gospel. They are born of the Spirit and justified by faith. The local Church is made up of such believers who are the visible expression of the universal Church.
We believe the sacraments of Baptism of believers by immersion and the Lord's Supper have been instituted by our Lord Jesus Christ. Baptism does not make believers nor does the Lord's Supper involve any change in the substance of the bread and wine.
We believe there will be a final bodily resurrection and the judgement of the world by our Lord Jesus Christ. Genuine believers will enjoy eternal life while unbelievers will perish.
